We're in Pleasant Hill now - in California. It's been an eventful 18 months of transition. After a great Christmas celebration at home and at Emily's place in Auburn, we hosted the three Edwards cousins at our place. We decided on Tuesday to take a little hike up in the Briones hills just a few miles from our house. It was muddy and green, and we had a great time enjoying the park. We somehow missed a turn on the trails and ended up far from where we parked our car, so Ben, Jordan and I hoofed it a couple miles back home and picked up our other car so we could rescue Nancy, Eric, Tara, and Margo. The rain was pretty light. Sucking the marrow out of life.
